Tesfa Social and Development Association was honored to host a delegation from HelpAge International, including representatives from several HelpAge country offices, who visited the association to review its ongoing programs and operational practices
The visit provided an important opportunity for institutional learning and experience sharing. Constructive discussions were held on program implementation, community engagement, and approaches to improving the wellbeing of vulnerable populations, particularly older persons.
During the visit, the delegation observed the association’s regular bi-weekly medical service, eye screening, ICOPE Assessment and food support. which is implemented as part of Tesfa’s integrated social and health support initiatives. The visitors expressed their strong appreciation and satisfaction with the organization quality of service and impact of the services delivered at community level.
The delegation departed with very positive feedback, recognizing Tesfa Social and Development Association’s effective contribution to community development and its alignment with HRBA international best practices. The visit further strengthened mutual understanding and collaboration between Tesfa Social and Development Association and HelpAge International.
